Navdy: New OS for your car

Even used your phone while driving?

Well, the Navdy will enables the driver to make calls, read texts, navigate and listen to music without the need of taking your eyes off the road.

The HUD display also connects with your car via OBDII, enabling customization of the display to show gas mileage, oil temperature, tire pressure etc...

The Navdy functions with the use of light being projected onto a transparent screen so the road stays in focus while you view the information.

A neat feature is that navdy has a sensor equipped to understand gestures and responds to them within seconds. Useful for accepting phone calls, or simply changing the song that is being played.

Navdy could potentially enabling the use to use multiple apps asides from those traditional GPS would have, such as having access to restaurant review apps or airline booking apps.

Right now the HUD is sold at $499 USD and the link to their official site will be linked in the references.

Will this technology become the standardized application used in our cars within a couple of decades? As we have discussed, Navdy has great potential to become a staple in our everyday lives as it offers users the use of mobile apps while hands free in our vehicles. The only question now is when this will happen?
